ByeMails ("the Service") prioritizes user privacy above all else. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.

We only collect the minimum information necessary to provide our service.

  • Google account email address
  • Google account display name
  • Google account profile image URL

2. Email Data

To provide the newsletter unsubscribe feature, we only read the following email header information:

  • Sender email address and display name
  • Subject line
  • List-Unsubscribe header (unsubscribe links)

Important: We never read email body content. We also never store it on our servers.

Article 3 (How We Use Your Information)

Collected information is used only for the following purposes:

  • Automatic detection and listing of newsletters
  • Providing one-click unsubscribe functionality
  • Account management and user authentication
  • Service improvement and quality enhancement

Article 4 (Information Sharing)

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except in the following cases:

  • With your explicit consent
  • When required by law
  • To provide necessary information to Stripe for payment processing

Article 5 (Security)

We implement the following security measures to protect your information:

  • All communications are encrypted with SSL/TLS
  • Secure authentication via Google OAuth 2.0 (we never store passwords)
  • Secure management and regular refresh of access tokens

Article 6 (Data Retention)

Account information is retained until you delete your account. Email header information is deleted within 30 days after unsubscribe processing is complete. You can request account deletion at any time, and all your data will be permanently deleted.

You have the following rights:

  • Access to your stored personal information
  • Request correction or deletion of personal information
  • Revoke access from your Google account settings
  • Stop using the service

Article 8 (Cookie Usage)

We use only essential cookies for session management and authentication. These are necessary for the service to function properly and are not used for tracking or advertising purposes.

Article 9 (Policy Changes)

This Privacy Policy may be updated as needed. We will notify you of significant changes through in-service notifications or email.
